Pantheon was recently acquired by Affiliated Managers Group Inc. ("AMG"), a NYSE-listed asset management company with shareholdings in a diverse group of over 30 high quality mid-sized asset management firms. This long-term partnership with AMG enables Pantheon's management to own a meaningful share of the equity and maintain independent management of the business.

Originally formed in 1982 as the private equity investment division of GT Management in London, Pantheon's management acquired the private equity division in 1988 through a management buyout. Pantheon was then acquired by Russell Investments in 2004.

Today, Pantheon has Untitled 143* employees with over Untitled US$22.6 billion in assets under management.

As a leading private equity primary and secondary fund-of-funds manager, Pantheon works to develop and implement private equity investment strategies for more than 300 institutional investors globally, including public and private pension plans, endowments, foundations, and family offices.
